Ashley’s desire to help a couple have their family was fulfilled on July 26, 2024. After waiting in the hospital for 4 days for her body to respond to the inducement, labor came on suddenly in the middle of the night! Fortunately, Carol and the new parents arrived at the hospital in time for the birth. Mom walked in the door just in time to hold her new son!
The new parents stayed close to Ashley for a few weeks so she and her daughter were able to visit often. When it was time to say goodbye, Ashley left proud of what she accomplished and her daughter was content that he wasn’t coming home with them, lol!
