Gratitude
As I reflect on this case, one thing pops into my mind immediately. And that is gratitude. It was wonderful to witness how appreciative the Couple was to Britni and her family. But what was especially wonderful was to see how Britni and her husband, Nate, and their friends and families (parents, siblings & their girlfriends, best friends, etc.) embraced this special Couple and not only made the journey more exciting and eventful, but it gave them a huge sense of belonging and being loved. How do I know this? Well I was fortunate to be a part of the embrace and this journey will be one I will often think about and will cherish forever.
Britni changed my life when she came into it nearly two years ago and on April 2, 2010 she changed the world when she brought Emma into the loving arms of her parents weighing a perfect 7lb 2oz.
