Jamie is 30 Weeks Pregnant Already!

Surrogate Mom Jamie is feeling great at 30 weeks! Baby is now the size of a large cabbage, and weighs approximately 3lbs! This pregnancy has been a beautiful one and we expect it will continue this way through her third trimester! Her couple is from Europe and therefore will be heading to California soon in anticipation of their baby’s arrival. They will be here by 36 weeks to ensure they make it in time. Fingers crossed! #feelingfabulous #30weekspregnant

Lunch with Some of Our Favorite Ladies!

It was such a great luncheon with our Surrogate Moms! What a beautiful bunch of ladies. With all of the kiddos out of school, it was great to have some Mommy time. As you can imagine, most of the chatter was about our own children or our surrogate journey. It is so amazing to get together and talk with one another. The support that they all have for each other is a beautiful thing!

Happy International Yoga Day!

International Yoga Day! Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. Yoga gurus from India introduced yoga to the West in the late 19th and early 20th century. In the 1980s, yoga became popular as a system of physical exercise across the Western world! International Yoga Day aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga.

Christine’s Delivery Memories

Surrogate Mom Christine had the most delicious celebration cake as she shared her birth story with us! Even though she was told how amazing this experience would be, she said it was better than she could have imagined. Her favorite part was when the brand new Father thanked her for allowing his wife to be right by her side during labor and the delivery of their new baby. This melted everyone’s heart!

Medical Clearance 101!

Medical clearance 101 for Surrogate Mothers – Don’t come hungry! Be sure to have a good meal and plenty of water prior to your appointment as they will be drawing blood. Do be prepared to get naked! The Dr. will perform a sonohysterogram, which is a procedure where a thin catheter is introduced through the cervix to the uterus. Ultrasound images are taken while the saline solution is injected into the uterus. A basic physical exam will also be performed.. Don’t forget to ask questions! Do get excited because…once cleared, the next step is your IVF protocol!!

Amanda’s Transfer Day!

While the first embryo transfer didn’t take, it didn’t discourage Surrogate Mom Amanda. Some of the anxiety dissipates because, the second time around, you know what to expect and the process is now familiar. Amanda was super calm and we feel the embryo transfer could not have been more smooth. We are all sending positive vibes to her and her couple! #yougotthis #oursurrogatesrock

Meet Maritza!

Meet Maritza!! She is in the early stages of her surrogacy journey and is excited as ever to become a Surrogate Mom! There are many steps a Surrogate Mom takes prior to the embryo transfer with the medical clearance being one of them! Thank you HRC Fertility for an easy and informative appointment. We’ll be hearing more about Maritza’s journey soon!

Tonya’s Transfer Day!

Transfer day for Tonya! This is Tonya’s first surrogacy and first FET. She is very excited and eager to become pregnant. Her children at home are just as excited to be a part of this experience with their Mom. Join us in sending positive vibes to Tonya and keep your eye out for results in 2wks!

Angela’s Transfer Day!!

Surrogate Mom, Angela, is crossing her fingers, toes, and those Mickey ears for a successful transfer. We never know what each journey will bring and this one sure threw us a curve! After a couple of attempts to build a lining, Dr. Friedman decided that a natural cycle would work best. And she was right!!! No surprise, of course! But this was a first experience for us, which says a lot considering the hundreds of transfers we’ve seen! After a slight delay, her and her IPs are as ready as ever for their FET!

The Best Part of the Job

Carol and our newest addition! It is an incredible feeling to see our Intended Parents’ dreams truly become fulfilled. At this moment, they finally have their family. For many of our couples, it is years of heartache and disappointment up to this moment. To see them now as parents, and a family is the greatest joy!
