Leah’s journey into the world of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) is deeply personal and profoundly inspiring. After facing her own infertility challenges, Leah channeled her experience into helping others, working at a local law firm specializing in Assisted Reproductive matters for over five years. Her role allowed her to support families navigating the complexities of surrogacy, embryo adoption, and egg/sperm donation, helping them realize their dreams of becoming parents.
Motivated by her deep passion for family, Leah established Family Choice Surrogacy, developing an all-encompassing program designed to support Intended Parents and Gestational Carriers throughout every stage of their journey. Her expertise and compassionate approach have made her a trusted partner for those seeking to build their families through ART.
Leah’s dedication to helping families led her to Carol and the BFI family, where she continues to extend her reach in supporting couples in their family-building endeavors. With a background as an accomplished Organizational and Human Resources leader, Leah has successfully led numerous teams and organizations over her 15-year career. She holds a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and is a trained birth doula.
Actively involved in the infertility community as a mentor and advocate, Leah is committed to increasing access to family-building options and advocating for financial relief for those facing infertility challenges. Her unwavering dedication and personal experience make her an invaluable resource for families on their journey to parenthood. Additionally, Leah serves on the leadership team of The Society for Ethics for Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS), a nonprofit organization founded by a group of egg donation and surrogacy agencies dedicated to defining and promoting ethical behavior among all parties involved in third-party reproduction.
