We’re all anxiously awaiting the arrival of one sweet Surro-Babe!
BFI has been helping couples build the family of their dreams for over three decades! We’d love to be a part of your journey!
We love these updates! Such a sweet photo of Dr. Frederick and the little ones she helped create…we told you…baby snuggles really are the best part of the job!
Did you know that Carol has held almost every baby born in our program-since 1991? That’s a lot of sweet baby snuggles!!
Amy is officially a successful surrogate! Congratulations to her and her intended parents on the completion of a beautiful surrogacy journey. Throughout this journey, Amy has shown her strength and delivery day was no different. When her epidural did not work, she was able to push through (literally) and calmly deliver her surro-babe. Baby girl entered the world midmorning on June 20, 2022. She was a perfectly petite six pounds, five ounces and nineteen inches long. Her parents are in love and seeing them with her for the first time was the highlight of Amy’s journey.
We are in awe of Amy and are so thankful to have had a small part in building this family!
“I was lucky enough to meet Jamie during my first surrogacy journey and I felt an instant connection to her. The BFI program really allows us GC’s to form a strong bond- I call the other ladies my ‘surro-sisters.’ When I found out that Jamie’s IP’s were staying in the same air bnb that mine had, I knew I wanted her to recreate this photo! What makes it extraordinary is that my IP’s and Jamie’s are actually friends and these little sisters born a year apart will get to grow up together!” GC Christine (pictured left)
Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans! Maricruz was settled in to rest for the last week of her sibling journey until her scheduled c-section, but the baby girl had other plans! In the early hours of June 18, 2022 she was surprised by her water breaking and she delivered just a few short hours later. Congratulations to Maricruz on becoming a successful surrogate! We are so proud of you and how wonderfully you handled every step of this journey.
Her intended parents are in awe of their precious baby girl and we are humbled to see their dreams come true!

You may recall Annette’s first surrogacy journey in the height of the Covid 19 Pandemic. Although she was on bedrest in the hospital for the last several weeks of her pregnancy, she never lost her infectious smile! Once the baby arrived, travel restrictions kept her IP’s from coming for their baby. She spent her very limited free time as a working single mother of three visiting her surrobabe and updating her IP’s on his status. She was overjoyed when baby was finally with his family! Amazingly, this situation only made her MORE willing to come back for a second journey. She says, “the best thing I ever did was become a successful surrogate.”
Keep an eye out for her upcoming birth story! We could not be more thankful to be on this journey with her again!
This birth story is twice as nice! On June 3, 2022 GC, Kristal, delivered TWO beautiful baby boys for her ecstatic Intended Parents. Kristal’s delivery was a planned cesarean. She arrived at the hospital ready to go at around 8:00am and before 11:00am, Mom was able to join her and the boys in recovery. Thankfully, despite current restrictions the amazing nurses on staff made an exception that allowed Dad to join them as well.
Up until the moment Mom and Dad held their precious boys they were still cautiously excited. Seeing that realization of a long awaited dream and knowing that she had had a part in it was by far the most spectacular moment of Kristal’s journey. She said experiencing that special moment with the boys and their parents was the moment that reaffirmed her decision to become a surrogate.
Every surrogacy story has beauty, but the journeys where we literally see two families merge are our favorite!
